Mary Morrow

Mary Alice Morrow, age 81, of Decatur, AL, Athens, AL, and Fayetteville, TN passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 after a long illness.   Mary was born in Fayetteville, TN, and attended Central High School.  She worked in retail sales at various locations including Dillards and Revco. She enjoyed reading, watching the Braves and spending time with her family. 

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, John L Morrow; her parents, Arville Mayo Pinkstaff and Ida Mai Broadway Pinkstaff; sisters, Frances McCune and Margaret Duckett; brothers, Kenneth R. Pinkstaff and Donald M Pinkstaff, Sr.; granddaughter, Janice N Bass.   

She is survived by her children, Merri Beth Bass  (Jeff) of Athens, AL,  John C Morrow (Kim) of Melbourne, FL,  and Melinda M Jones (David) of Decatur, AL;  Grandchildren, Meredith Baswell (Chad) of Athens, AL, William Morrow (Madison) of  Athens, AL, Matthew Jones of Auburn, AL, and Brad Morrow of Melbourne, FL;  Great grandchildren, Davis Baswell, Winn Baswell, and Sam Baswell;  sisters, Ruth White, Doris Jean Hamlin of Fayetteville, and Patricia Edmondson of Fayetteville and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends. A private graveside service for the family will be held on Saturday, July 14^th at 11 am.  A Celebration of Life will be held for all family, friends, and acquaintances at the First Baptist Church of Decatur chapel on Saturday, July 14^th at 2:00 pm (visitation from 1:00-2:00 pm).
