Chinnasami Krishnasami

Chinnasami Krishnasami (“Sami”), 87, of Madison, Alabama passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019. Visitation will be held 10:00-11:00am Friday, January 11 at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home in Madison. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00am. Pastor Johnny Mosquera will be officiating this service. Burial will follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens. Sami was born in South India. In 1979, he and his family emigrated to Madison, Alabama. He taught business management and marketing courses at the University of Alabama in Huntsville for many years, and was loved by his students and faculty. Sami was an avid learner throughout his lifetime. He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Madison Senior Center.

Sami is survived by his five daughters, Dr. Sheela Parrish and her husband Greg, Shuganti Caradonna and her husband Chris, Nellie Smith and her husband Mark, Ziniah Beasley and her husband Stan, and Dr. Zipporah Krishnasami; eight grandchildren (Aaron and his wife Kristi, Lauren and her husband Mike, Ryan, Hollie, Lindsey, Jonathan, Christian, and Caleb), and three great grandchildren (Connor, Landon, and Macy). He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, and his wife Manoranjitham (Ambrose) in 1996, his daughter Dr. Shanti Ruth Krishnasami in 1993 and grandson Matthew Smith in 2002.
