Barbara Fitch Petree

Barbara Fitch Petree passed away peacefully on February 3, 2019.

A native of San Antonio, Texas, she attended Sweet Briar College and the University of Texas. She resided most of her life in Florence, Alabama, where she raised her two daughters, Cathy Beck and Dinah Rhodes. She was an avid dog lover and she loved to hike and travel.

She is survived by her daughters, Cathy Beck (Skip), Dinah Rhodes (Steve),grandchildren, Trip Bower, Jessie Bower, Riley Beck, Charlotte Pasiadis (George), Zach Beck (Britton), Makali Beck, and Roxanne Beck (Landon).

A private family ceremony will be held. If you wish, make a donation to The Ark, a no kill animal shelter, 139 Bo Cole Road NW Huntsville, AL 35806 in her memory.
