Charles W. Hazelton

Charles (Chuck) W. Hazelton, age 67, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 7, 2019.

He was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 25, 1951 to Florence Catherine Lusher and John A. Hazelton.

He worked for many years as a sales representative at Teledyne Firth Sterling. In the later years he worked as a plant vendor at Home Depot and a clubhouse manager for the Huntsville Stars. Retired for his final few years, he spent lots of time with family and friends and watching sports on television.

Charles is survived by his wife, Lou Ann Kovac Hazelton and daughter, Catherine Mary Hazelton as well as brothers James Hazelton (Mae) and John Hazelton.

He was an avid sports fan – “Da Bears” and “Go Cubbies.” In his lifetime, we were glad he was able to see the Chicago Cubs win a World Series, the Chicago Bears win the super bowl and recently make the playoffs, the Chicago Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup, and the Chicago Bulls win several championships.

Visitation and celebration of life will be held at Legacy Chapel on Hughes Road, Madison Al on February 13, 2019.
