Mary Josephine Cooper

Mary Josephine, “Jo”, Cooper, 86, of Madison, Alabama passed away on June 1, 2019. Jo was retired from the Huntsville City school system. She was very involved in the bus and kitchen ministry at Wall Highway Baptist Church. Her hobbies included cooking and gardening.

Jo is survived by her daughter Diane Knox, sons Randy and Tim Cooper (Cindy), 9 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

Jo is preceded in death by her husband James L. Cooper, parents David Doss Ingram and Berta Nail Ingram, son Michael David Cooper, grandson Jim Cooper, infant great granddaughter Kendall Marie Haughton, and several siblings.

A visitation and service will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory in Madison, Alabama. The visitation will be from 10:00am – 11:00am with the service following at 11:00am. Pallbearers will be Benjamin Knox, Ryan Robley, Adam Cooper, Caleb Cooper, Michael Cooper, and John Bush.
