Matthew Michael Tomaszewski

Matthew Michael Tomaszewski, 28, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019. Matt was a 2009 graduate of Hazelton Area High School and a 2017 graduate of Calhoun Community College. He worked in Maintenance at Wayne Farms in Decatur, Alabama.

Matthew is survived by his father Michael Tomaszewski (Donna), mother Cynthia Mandak (Robert), sister Julianne Grohman (Raymond), brother Evan Fowler (Amanda), sister Kristen Velasquez (Dayan), nephews Ethan and Lucas Grohman and niece Liliana Velasquez. He also leaves uncles Jeffrey Verticchio, Bill Lyons Jr. (Kelly), Val Tomaszewski, Casey Tomaszewski (Nancy), aunts Amy Lyons, Cathy Mazurek (Larry), Mary Tom, Celeste Gajda and grandparents Billy and Matilda Lyons.

Matthew was a kind and generous man. He was quiet and polite, always a gentleman, thinking of other people before himself. He has a large, loving, and supportive family that will miss his sweet smile and gentle spirit.
