David Wayne Murks

 David Wayne Murks, 74, of Owens Cross Roads, Alabama passed away Saturday August 3, 2019. He is survived by his son Anthony Murks (Margaret) of Huntsville, AL., his step son Danny Jolene Burt of Dawson, AL., two step daughters Tina Burt of Fort Payne, AL., his step grandson Connor Edmondson of Fort Payne, AL., Elaine Noe (Paul) of Chattanooga, TN., step granddaughter Keppy Miller of Madison, AL., his step great grandsons, Simon Miller, Seth Miller, and Donovan Miller of Madison, AL., his nephew Charles Murks (Rene), and great nephew William Murks.

David served in the Air Force and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. After serving in the military, David worked and retired from Dunlop. David was very religious and enjoyed attending church services at Rivertree Church in Owens Cross Roads, Alabama. He was a very reserved and thoughtful person. In his spare time David loved to collect antiques and garden (It is often said that his yard is like the Botanical Gardens). David was a very loving father and will be missed by all.

There will be a visitation Wednesday, August 7, 2019 11:00am – 12:00pm at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory in Madison, AL. with a service following at 12:00pm. An interment will be held at Huntsville Memory Gardens following the service.
