Virginia Jo “Pack” Ross, 81, of Harvest, AL passed away peacefully at home on April 17, 2020.
She was born on October 9th, 1938 in Del Rio, TN to the late William Nathan and Lena Mae Pack.
Virginia (Ginny) loved to spend time with family and friends. She also enjoyed, cooking, canning, reading, watching birds (especially hummingbirds), sewing, quilting, needlepoint, and doll making. She was also a volunteer and participant in the North Carolina Senior Games, the Alabama Senior Olympics and the Masters Games of Alabama. She was well known for her kind generous heart and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband: Eugene H. Ross (married 63 years) of Harvest, AL; Her children: Wayne (Michelle) Ross of Harvest, AL; Cynthia Collins of Arlington Heights, IL; and Sandra (David) Gibbs of Harvest, AL; her brother Fred Pack of Newport, TN; 12 Grandchildren: Brandon, Nicholas, Austin, Daniel, Dustin, David, Samantha, Ryan, Jesse, Brian, Kristen, and Katrina; 15 Great-grandchildren: Kailey, Zack, Maxwell, Bradley, Ares, Apollo, Darin, Liam, Cade, Jayden, Roman, Kennedy, Mason, Chandler, and Dawson.
Virginia chose to be cremated. A celebration of her life will be held after the coronavirus leaves us.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Jimmy V. Cancer Foundation.
