Edward Lee Durst

Edward Lee Durst, 72, of Madison, AL. went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday May 8^th at Birmingham VA Hospital.

Edward was born on September 26, 1947 in Somerset, PA. but lived most of his life in Ohio. Edward proudly served his country in Vietnam as a medic.

He, very much, enjoyed his church family at Madison Baptist Church, reading his Bible was his joy.

He was a lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 26, Huntsville and Also a member of the American Legion Chapter 229 of Madison.

Edward is survived by his devoted and loving wife Kathy; his children, Russell Edward Durst, Eric Durst, Stacy Durst, and Sheila Durst; his stepchildren, Scott Bartow (Julie), Shirley Azbell (Greg), and Kevin Bartow; his brothers, Larry Durst (Linda) and Richard Durst.
