Maria A. Warren

Maria Antonie (Gutsmiedl) Warren, 81, of Madison, AL passed away on May 10, 2020, peacefully at home.  

Maria was born in Bad Tolz, Germany, to Franz Xavier Gutsmiedl and Maria Therese (Ludwig). She was a devoted mother and homemaker for her family, taking up residence in Europe and the U.S. with her husband and five children.  She inherited her love of cooking from her mother and delighted her family and friends with her meals.  

Maria was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, John Roland Warren, of Goffstown, New Hampshire. Her daughters Viola Crooker and Doris predeceased her passing as well as her step-brothers, Eugene, Manfred, and Erwin and step-sisters, Clara and Anna. She is survived by her children: son John and daughter-in-law Susan of Tewksbury, MA; daughter Maria Burton of Gloversville, NY; and daughter Jennifer Deken and son-in-law Kevin of Madison, AL. She has twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
