Carl Joseph Dow

Carl Joseph Dow, 83, born and raised in New Bedford Mass., later relocated to Huntsville, AL passed away Wednesday May 13, 2020.

Carl was a professional photographer, videographer and dedicated Korean War Veteran. He worked most of his career working for Redstone Arsenal and Marshall Space Flight Center and retired as Division Chief over Visual Information in 1996.

He served as a member and Commander of the American Legion Post 229. Mr. Dow was very committed to his family, friends, and community.

Carl loved to be the life of the party with his quick wit and dashing smile.

Carl is survived by his loving wife Jane Dow of 29; one sister, Polly Wiseman; his daughters, Jennifer Patterson and Kimberly Menjivar-Ford; son, Scott Dow; 4 grandchildren, Emily Lepper, Stephanie Standridge, Alison Eaton, and Adeel Menjivar; two great grandchildren, Izayah and Emmitt.

Carl is preceded in death by his parents Carl Joseph Dow and Adele Barbour and his sister Louise Cornelius.
