Mitzi Ann Cordova

Mitzi Ann Cordova was born at Maxwell Air Force Base, Montgomery, Alabama on January 13, 1960.  Mitzi passed away at home on June 19, 2020.  Mitzi’s occupation as a social worker enabled her to work as a drug counselor and rehabilitation director to many individuals giving and providing a better direction in their lives.

Mitzi was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Madison, Alabama.  She started to engage in programs prior to her illness overcoming her ability to fully participate.  She succumbed to Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and other underlying medical issues. 

Mitzi is survived by her son, Joseph Daniel Johnson, sisters, Rita (Leroy) and Michele (Mike), husband, Joe.  Mitzi’s compassionate and loving spirit will continue in her family and friend’s hearts.  She was a kind, loving soul, a wife, mother, and friend.
