Brent Burks

Brent Ellis Burks, 66, of Madison, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 29, 2020 in Madison.

Brent was born in Huntsville, Alabama to Darril Gene Burks and Margie Pylant Burks on June 15,1954. He went to high school at Lee High School and graduated in 1972. He worked as a Supervisor for Kennemetal for 42 years before retiring. 

Brent Burks is preceded in death by his Mother, Margie Pylant Burks and his Father, Darril Burks.

Brent Burks is survived by his wonderful wife of 48 years, Vickie Burks, 2 sons, Thomas and Tony Burks, 3 brothers, Bruce, Brad, and Mitch Burks, 3 Granddaughters, Katelyn, Elizabeth, and Veronica Burks, and 3 Great Grandsons, Jackson, Bryson, and Maverick Thurman.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Kindred Hospice (Veronica and Faye).

Visitation and Funeral service will be held at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 1, 2020. Visitation will be from 12:00pm-2:00pm with the Service at 2:00pm. Reverend Stan Mullins of Woodland Hill Baptist will be officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery. Legacy Chapel Funeral Home is handling the funeral arrangements.
