Kinnon Manderson Cornelius

Kinnon Manderson Cornelius, 84, of Madison, AL. passed away on November 14, 2020.

Kin was born on July 31, 1936 in Albertville, Alabama.  Kin moved to Huntsville, Alabama in 1961 with his new bride, Eva.

Kin and Eva met in Bari Italy in 1961 and celebrated 59 years of marriage in 2020.  Kin was a devoted Husband to Eva, Father to his children, Kathy and Alex, loving Grandfather to Justin, Alexander, Andrew, Ryan and Brayden, and proud Great Grandfather to Olliver, Easton, Asher and Carter.

Kin was well loved by everyone he met. He was generous, hardworking, and helped anyone who asked. 

Kin is survived by his wife, Eva Cornelius, his children, Kathy Heeren, Alex Cornelius (Marcia) grand children, Justin Cobb (Kayte),  Alexander Heeren (Hayley) Andrew Heeren (Bethany), Ryan Cornelius, Brayden Cornelius (Faith), great grandchildren, Olliver Ressler, Easton Cobb, Asher Adkins-Heeren, Carter Cobb, 2 brothers John Cornelius (Gail),  Dean Cornelius (Tiziana) and 1 sister Jane Pendergrass (Jerry) and many nieces and nephews.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

Kin is reunited in God’s Glory with his parents Etta Jewel and Thomas Cornelius, brother Gene Cornelius and sister Judy Cornelius.

A memorial Service will be held at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 228 Mount Zion Road, Huntsville, Alabama 35806 on Sunday, November 22nd.  Visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m. and the memorial service starting at 3:00 p.m.
