Gerane Ann Edwards

Mrs. Gerane Edwards of the Terrace at Priceville and Morningside of Madison Assisted Living passed quietly into eternal life on January 19, 2021. She was born in Albany, New York on August 19, 1928 to Stephen and Regina Snyder. Gerane went to public schools and graduated with Honors from Albany High School in 1946. Upon graduation she worked under the NYS Department of Labor and the City of Albany, Department of Parks and Recreation from where she retired. She was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and her retirement community in Madison, Alabama, where she became known for her help in getting new residents acclimated to their living environment.

Gerane is predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob) Edwards, her sister Patricia Heywood, and her parents. She is survived by her son William (Bill) Edwards, OFS, Daughter-in-Law Maura M. Edwards, CCC/SLPs, Grand children Julianna, Maura Katherine, and CPT Bill Edwards, Jr. and Great Grand Daughter Avery Grace Carter.
