Patricia Robertson

Patricia Ricker Robertson, 81, of Madison, died Saturday, May 15, 2021.  Patricia was born April 6, 1941 in Knoxville, TN.  She was the daughter of the late William E. Ricker, Sr. and Laura W. Ricker.  She was retired from Hospice in Carrollton, GA where she had served as a counselor.  Pat was a kind and caring person.  Her greatest loves were children and animals.  She was always there for those in need or who were less fortunate and served as a foster mother to many children.  In addition, Pat enjoyed travel and spent time in Africa counseling at an orphanage.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her son, K. Shane Alfrey, her husband, Carlos F. Robertson, her brothers William E. Ricker, Jr. and Ronald R. Ricker, Sr. and her sisters Shirley A. Emert and Margaret E. Phillips.  Survivors include her brother George R. Ricker (Janice) and James M. Ricker (Gayla), her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Kellar, numerous nephews and nieces, including nephew Channing Phillips (Meesha) and niece Kimberly Sharp (Tim) with whom she has lived the past 4 years.

In accordance with Pat’s wishes, no services will be held.  Donations may be made in her memory to Compassus Hospice, 7262 Governors West, Huntsville, AL. 35806.
