Scott Albert Kolonko, 38, of Madison, AL., was born June 16, 1983 in Staten Island, New York. He is the son of Harvey Kolonko and Kathleen Cocklin Kolonko. He fell asleep in the Lord on July 21, 2021. After graduating from high school from Staten Island Academy, Scott attended Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey to attain his Bachelor’s and Masters in Mechanical Engineering as well as a Masters in Astronautical Engineering from University of Southern California. These honors had Scott working on such projects as the Orion space program as well as the SLS program that will bring man to Mars. In 2006, Scott proudly enlisted in the United States Navy Reserves as a Lieutenant in the Civil Engineer Corps. He was married in 2012 to Paris Trataros. Together they shared two beautiful daughters, Abigail Victoria Kolonko and Kara Lola Kolonko and were living in Madison, Alabama. The family would like to extend a sincere thanks to all that prayed and gave us strength and hope through his three-year battle with cancer. Scott is now at peace. A Graveside Service will be held Saturday July 24, 2021 at 11:00am at Faith Memorial Park located on Madison Blvd in Madison, AL.
