Penelope Ann Lynn (Green) of Madison, Alabama passed away on August 9, 2021. She was born on October 7, 1949 in Wisbech, England. She was a humanitarian in all that she did in life and was a proud retiree of the United States Air Force, having served for 20 years. She was also an astounding master of debate and a free spirit dedicated to living her life to the fullest. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie Raymond Green and Myrtle Marion Mona Green (Kenny). She is survived by her husband and love of her life of 52 years, George, her son and daughter-in-law, Stuart and Janet (Stearns), her grandchildren, Mackenzie, Chase, Brooke and Auburn, her brothers Rodney, Roger and Stuart and her sisters Elizabeth, Hilary and Mandy along with numerous other family and friends. Services will be held at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Penelope’s name be made to the American Women Veterans Foundation at http://americanwomenveterans.org/home/ or to the American Cancer Society at https://www.cancer.org/.
