John Harold Hagood

Johnny Hagood, 80, a lifelong resident of Madison, Al passed away peacefully on August 10th after a year long battle with cancer.   He was surrounded in his last days by his loving wife, his children and grandchildren and a host of family and friends.  

Johnny is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sandra Cone Hagood; his children Bobby and Lana Hagood, Doug and Michelle Hagood, Stephen Hagood and Stacy Gipson;  his grandchildren Rebecca and Zeb Worlund, Jordan and Julia Hagood, Cory and Claire Hagood, and Cash and Presley Pence; his great grandchild, Zeke Worlund; his sister and her husband Joanne and Morris Anderson; a host of nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Edna Earl Hagood and sister, Nancy Downs. 

Johnny was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ and valued his years as an active church member.  Johnny enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
