She was born on May 16, 1944, in Palestine, Texas to Asa and Carol Hord.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Asa and Carol Hord of Virginia; brother, Michael E. Hord of Texas.

Judy is survived by her children, Melissa Owen (Robert), Carol Swanson (Bruce), Donnie Spencer (Loree), Matthew Spencer (Alecia); brother, Stephen Hord (Sue); nephew, Michael A. Hord of Colorado; grandchildren, Jessica Myers (Barak), Taylor Owen, Emily Pendlum (Kyle), Carly Swanson, Meighan Winton, Nicholas Spencer, Maddie Spencer; and 5 Great-grandchildren.
