Beverly Janet Valentine

Beverly Janet Valentine, 81, of Madison, Alabama passed away on August 31st at Madison Hospital.

Janet was born on December 13, 1939 to Willard and Jessie Lee Rogers in Malden, Missouri.  While a senior in high school, she met Ed Valentine who was starting his pilot training at the Air Force base in Malden and began dating.  She graduated from Malden High School in 1957, and on December 29, 1957 she and Ed married and went on to have 4 children, Diane, Annette, Rick and Tom.

Janet was a loving wife, mother and friend, and was a wonderful Gramme to her 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Janet was predeceased by her father Willard Rogers, her mother Jessie Lee Rogers and her daughter Diane Valentine Helser. She is survived by her husband of 63 years Ed Valentine, her children Annette Valentine Sinyard (Ken), Rick Valentine (Kris) and Tom Valentine (Karen); as well as her grandchildren Nick Helser (Ashley), Taylor Sinyard, Katie Valentine, Brooke Sinyard, Emily Valentine, Sydney Valentine and Dalton Valentine; and 1 great grandchild Charlotte Diane Helser.

Visitation will be at Legacy Funeral Home in Madison, Alabama on Saturday September 4th from noon - 1:30.
