Tran Kim Thoai

Thoai Thi Kim Tran, 76, of Madison, AL passed away September 8, 2021.

Grandma was an incredible, loving, and a one-of-a-kind woman. She had left a legacy behind in the hearts of her survivors. She raised her children and grandchildren in the warmth of her love and is and forever will be the foundation of our family. Grandma was always humble and content with what she had and was willing to share what’s precious to her with others because to her, they were more precious than what she could possess. She always put everyone else first before herself, taking less in order to give more to others. Even her favorite things in the world. “Take 9, but leave 10” she always said. Grandma always held any situation that came against her and suppressed it all to make peace with others. She taught every one of her children that: “It doesn’t matter what people say or do, whether you are right or wrong, you must humble yourself and apologize.” This was the woman who raised us. 

She was a daughter, granddaughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and a beacon to those around her. Most importantly, she was a faithful child of God to the very end of her journey on Earth.
