Loyd Lee Worley

Loyd Lee Worley, a beloved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away October 2, 2021, surrounded by family. He was 78 and resided in Madison, Alabama. Loyd was born June 4, 1943, in Huntsville, Alabama. He served in the U.S. Air Force and worked for Boeing and SAIC before retirement. Mr. Worley is survived by his wife, Suzy Worley; son, Scott Worley (Scarlet); daughter, Roxie Smith (Adam); daughter, Christy Everhart (James); thirteen grandchildren; sister, Shirley Ford; brother, Lawrence Wayne Worley; sister, Susan Eubanks (Randy); brother, Darrell Worley (Julie) and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Elbert Worley; mother, Roxie Worley; his brother, Charles Worley and nephew, Jeff Ford. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 7, 2021, at 10 am at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home in Madison followed by a memorial service with Randy Eubanks officiating. In these uncertain times and out of respect for the family, please wear a mask. At 12:30 pm at Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville there will be a graveside service with Anthony Ford officiating.
