Howard "Kip" Clifton Taylor, Jr.

               Howard Clifton “Kip” Taylor, age 79, passed away on November 23, 2021. Kip was born November 19, 1942, to Howard and Shirley Taylor both deceased. Kip was preceded in death by brother Don Taylor. He is survived by wife of sixty years, Mary, son Todd (Robbyn), grandsons Jackson and Jake (Madison), and brother Roger (Nancy). 

               Kip served four years in the US Army. After returning from the Army, he worked for Huntsville Utilities. Kip left Huntsville Utilities in 1972 to form his own company, Taylor Electric. Forty-nine years later, Taylor Electric is a large company with a reputation based on integrity and hard work. Kip's son Todd took over as Director of Taylor Electric in 2000. Kip was so proud of being the first of what has now become three generations of Lineman. 

               Kip lived his entire life in Madison County except for a year in Fort Hood, Texas. He will be missed by family and friends.
