Betty Jean Sturdivant

March 5, 1941 — January 20, 2022

Betty Jean Sturdivant, 80, passed peacefully to her eternal home on January 20th, 2022. She was preceded in death by her father, William Mosby, and her mother, Fannie Mae Mosby, along with her sisters, Olene Dearing and Emma Compton, and brothers, Robert, Charles, Willie Paul, James Earl, and Linville Mosby. She is survived by her husband of 63 loving years, Larry H. Sturdivant, her son David Sturdivant (Linda), her daughter Sandra Steadman (John T.), five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She was a homemaker after working for many years at the Glasgow Pants Factory, an avid antiquer, and a beloved Nanny.
