Geraldine Ruth Clemmer

Geraldine “Gerry” Clemmer, age 77, of Harvest, AL passed away on April 3, 2022, in Huntsville Hospital.  She was born in Columbus, OH on August 18, 1944, to Gerald and JoAnn (Zigler) Beals.  Gerry graduated from North High School in 1962.  She married the late John DeVoe in 1962.  She married Steven Clemmer in 1973.  Gerry moved to Clearwater, FL in 1979 and enjoyed living there for 25 years.  She moved to Harvest, AL in 2006. Gerry was a woman of great faith and a devoted, loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She also loved her many pet cats and dogs over the years.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter.

Gerry is survived by her husband, Steven, and three children: Jill Hall (Phillip), of Columbia, TN; Stacey Greco, of St. Johns, FL; and Eric DeVoe (Connie) of Spring Hill, TN.  She is also survived by her sister, Kay Kready (Paul), of Galena, OH, by 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and by her dear friend of 50 years, Connie Snyder.

A visitation will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home, followed a memorial service at 2 p.m.
