Andrew "Drew" Bruer

Andrew Mackenzie “Drew” Bruer was born on January 28, 2003 and passed away on August 28, 2022 at the age of 19.  He has joined his grandfather, Charles Bruer and his great-grandfather Orvis Sigler.  His untimely passing has left behind his mother, Elizabeth  Bruer, brother, Chase Smitherman, grandmother Sally Bruer, Uncle Christopher Bruer (Teresa), Great Aunt Susan Templeton, nephew Chase Smitherman, Jr., Niece Ember  Smitherman and cousins Dana Warren, Aedan Bruer, Elijah Bruer, Mathieu Bruer and Oliver Bruer.

Andrew was currently attending Calhoun Community College where he planned to major in Environmental Engineering.  Andrew was extremely close with his older brother Chase.   They had a bond like no other, even sharing the same group of friends growing up. A  group of friends that loved Andrew deeply.   This included his best friend Cameron, the kind of best friend you have for life.  He loved hanging out with Chase and his friends, playing Xbox, joking around, going to the gun range and driving his car.  He was all about his shoes, clothes and cars.  If he was your friend then he was your friend for life.  His heart was huge and his wit quick.  He is already missed by so many and his passing has left a void in our hearts that can never be replaced.
