Gretchen Sue Fox
December 8, 1941 — October 30, 2022
On October 30th 2022, Sue Fox, mother of four, passed away at the age of 80 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Sue was born on December 8th, 1941 in St. Louis Missouri. Sue earned her associates degree at Kellogg Community College in Battle Creek Michigan and served as an RN for 30 years. She worked as a nursing advisor opening up several immediate care centers across Northern Virginia. Sue was compassionate and adventurous. As she entered retirement she traveled and enjoyed exploring other countries as well as the United States.
Sue was proceded in death by her parents, Josephine and Harry Sailor, her siblings, Fran Derrig, Harry Sailor, and Michael Sailor. She is survived by her life partner, Ernie Supulski and her four children Thomas Fox, Teresa Green, Lisa Snyder, and Leslie Gereghty. Sue is also survived by her 10 grandchildren.
A mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Church, Madison AL on November 25th at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made in her honor to russelhill.org.
