Jennifer Elizabeth Thompson

Jennifer Elizabeth Thompson (Carter), age 35, passed away unexpectedly on the evening of December 15, 2022, at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope, AL. Jennifer was born on December 19, 1986, to her mother, Sarah Riggs and her father, Rocky Carter in Huntsville, AL. Jennifer had a heart of gold and always put other’s needs before her own. She enjoyed the quainter things in life; going for long walks on the beach, going for drives to see waterfalls, and sitting outside and watching the stars.  Jennifer was a wonderful mother, and loved spending time with her daughter, Kyleigh Boardman. She and her husband of 4 years, Alexander Thompson, were excitedly awaiting the arrival of their child, Lucas Jonathan Thompson, who passed with his mother. Jennifer leaves behind her husband, daughter, and parents, as well as her step-father, Nathan Riggs, sister-in-law, Serena Thompson, her best friend, Amy Dye, and a host of other friends and family.

Please join us for a ceremony of her life at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory in Madison, AL on December 22, 2022. Visitation will commence at 5 PM with a memorial service to follow at 6 PM. CW Turner will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the following charities: Kids To Love, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and Spondylitis Association of America.
