Branden Wesley Patterson

It is with deep immeasurable love that we announce the passing of our beloved son Branden Wesley Patterson, son of Valerie Patterson and Wesley Patterson born in HSV, AL on April 24, 1996.

Affectionately known to his family and friends as BB. He always greeted everyone with smiles and hand claps. Despite all his struggle with Sanfilippo Syndrome he never let it steal his joy.

He attended Madison County schools with some exceptional special need staffers and caregivers. He graduated from high school in 2017. After high school he spent most days in home. He enjoyed watching and jumping to some of his favorite shows like The Wiggles and Toy Story. I want to give thanks to his most dedicated caregivers in his final years, Genesis, Claudia, Kendy and Osias.

Throughout his younger years Branden was granted Make A Wish trip to the theme parks in Orlando, Florida. He also attended other conferences with like families at the theme parks in Disney.

Branden was surrounded by love with younger brothers Derrick and Nicholas Patterson. Branden loved eating popcorn with Derrick. In his later years, he liked watching TV with his brother Nicholas.

His passing leaves a void that can never be filled but also a legacy of love and smiles that all who knew him will remember.

He leaves behind his brothers Derrick Thomas Patterson and Nicholas Daniel Patterson as well as his mother Valerie Joyce Patterson and his father Wesley David Patterson.

As we navigate the sorrow of his loss we celebrate his presence with his heavenly father. Please pray his light remains with us in everything we do each day. May his soul rest in perfect and everlasting peace.

A memorial service will be held at Legacy Chapel on July 19th, open visitation starts at 10:30. The funeral service starts at 11.
