Brandi Michele Ashmore, 48, of Madison, Alabama, passed away December 11, 2025.
She was born in Huntsville, Alabama and graduated from Bob Jones High School in the year 1995. She graduated with her Bachelor Of Science in Psychology from Athens State University & Master Of Education from Alabama A&M University.
Brandi was an educator for 23 years; one year in Madison City Schools & 17 years in Huntsville City Schools. She was currently a 6th grade Science Teacher at Whitesburg Middle School.
In her free time away from school, her favorite thing to do was go to music concerts and usually averaged ten or more every year! During baseball season, you could usually find her checking scores if not actually watching her beloved San Francisco Giants. She also loved to sport her Crimson and Houndstooth during football season! Aside from those, Brandi’s free time was most often spent with family or many friends and precious fur babies.

Brandi is survived by her sister Connie Philips (Rodney). Nephews Gunter Phillips and Sawyer Phillips(Kimberly). Great nieces Rylee, Lettie and Emmie Phillips. Great nephew Brooks Phillips, Uncle Jerry Atkins (Mary) and his family, as well as many extended family members. She will also be forever remembered & greatly missed by childhood friends & teacher/work family.

Brandi is preceded in death by her, mother Sherry (2025), father Tommy (2016), grandfather Allen Atkins (1987), grandmother Lillie Atkins (2009), Uncle Stan Atkins and his wife Nina Atkins, great uncle Jack Shelton and his wife Doris Shelton, great uncle Houston Shelton and his wife Yoshi Shelton and nephews Stover and Graham Phillips (2024)

A Memorial Service will be held for Brandi on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Service will follow at 6:30 PM.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kid to Love or a New Leash on Life.
