Clifton passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023. He was born in Limestone County on December 26, 1926, to the John Ruffin Stinnett and Blanchie Elizabeth Whitt Stinnett.

Clifton was always ready to lend a helping hand taking care of his parents, children, and grandchildren. He was a member of the Air Force where he also sold candy bars as part time job and would send his check home to his parents and live off the candy sale. He worked at General Shoes, farmed, raised chickens, and sold produce. His main passion was carpentry building houses in Madison County until he became disabled. His hobby was building furniture and toys.

Clifton was a member of Oakland Baptist Church. He accepted Jesus while attending Madison Baptist Church.

Survivors include Sister, Doris Ransom, Son, Stacy Stinnett (Stephanie) of Ardmore AL, Daughter, Beverely Wilson (Bob) of Priceville, Grandsons, Charles Stinnett (Amy), Bobby Stinnett (Connie), Mark Stinnett (Pam), Steven Breeding, Michael Breeding (Leslie). 15 Great Grandchildren and 14 Great-Great grandchildren.  

Deceased include Father, Ruffin Stinnett, Mother, Blanchie Whitt Stinnett. Sister Eunice McNeal, Brothers John Coleman Stinnett, Homer Lee Stinnett, Mathan Eugene Stinnett.

The Celebration of Life will be Tuesday, November 28, 2023

Visitation 1 to 2 PM

Service will begin at 2 PM

Burial to follow at Madison Cemetery.
