Diana Rose Draper

Diana Rose Draper, 26, of Madison Alabama died unexpectedly on June 15, 2026. She is survived by her parents and her sister, Rebecca Ann Draper.

Diana was born on March 30, 2000 in Huntsville, Alabama to George Mack Draper, Jr. and Thien Huong Vu.

She grew up in Madison, graduated from James Clemens High School in 2018, and earned a degree in Accounting from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2022. She worked in a variety of Accounting jobs, most notably with the Department of Defense and the Alabama Department of Revenue.

Diana was a talented musician, having mastered the clarinet while in High School Band, and was an accomplished pianist as well. She also had a strong, clear, and pitch perfect singing voice. Her love of the arts extended to drawing and painting and she left behind several portraits of her friends and her pets.

Diana was an animal lover, especially of cats, whether on the family farm or at her apartment. Diana loved going to Rudy's Jazz Club in Nashville and once fulfilled one of her dreams by singing "The Stars Fell on Alabama" there on amateur night. While living in Nashville, she got a license plate with a cool cat playing a saxophone on it.

Although she had a reserved personality, she made several good friends and did her best to accomplish any task that she set her mind to. She was especially close with her sister, Rebecca. Diana will be keenly missed by all who knew her well.

Visitation will be held from TBD on Saturday, June 20th at Legacy Chapel in Madison, AL. Burial will follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens, time TBD.
