Donald A Wight

Donald A. Wight, 90, of Madison, Alabama passed away February 25, 2026. 
He is survived by his wife, Loretta M. Wight; children: David A. Wight (Annie), Sheri Wight, Charles Wight (Amanda) and daughter-in-law Marlon Wight. Donald is also survived by 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 
Donald is preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Vada Wight, as well his son: Steven E. Wight. 
He was a retired civil servant from Redstone Arsenal and an avid wood worker. As a member of Asbury Church, he performed mission work where his gift for serving and helping others showed through.
Donald A. Wight’s service will take place Friday, February 27, 2026 at Asbury Church. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM and his service will follow at 2:00 PM, with Dr. Alan Weatherly and Dr. Tommy Gray officiating.
