Edwin Clifton Catron

Edwin “Clifton” Catron Clifton,78, of Madison, passed away peacefully Friday, December 5 th . He was born in Welch, West Virginia on December 16, 1946, to Harry Duard Catron and Willa Ann Jones Catron. He is survived by his wife, Xinfeng Lin, and stepdaughter Emily of Madison, AL. He is also survived by his daughters, Seanna Catron of Limestone, ME, and Sarah Catron of Rockland, ME and the mother of his children, Margaret Catron of Limestone, ME, and brother, Tony Catron of Tennessee.

He was predeceased by his sister, Diana Hughes and four brothers Danny Ray Catron, Ronald Catron, Paul “Mickey” Catron, and Roy Lee Catron.

Clifton served in the U.S. Air Force as a Load-Master during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged as a Staff-Sargent. He then went on to attend Lynchburg College, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and worked as a Logistics Accountant until he retired. Clifton loved his dogs, Firebird and Rock-n-Roll.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11:00 on Wednesday, December 10th at Memory Gardens, Huntsville, AL.
