James "Danny" McDaniel, Jr.

James “Danny" D. McDaniel, 76, of Huntsville, AL, passed away on April 23, 2024, in Decatur, Alabama. He honorably served in the Army from 1968 to 1972.

In his professional life, Danny dedicated himself to serving the community through his work at the Decatur Police Department and the Morgan County Sheriffs Department.

He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughter, Paige Kistler, son Steven McDaniel, son-in-law Charles Kistler, daughter-in-law Maria McDaniel, grandchildren Bryce Kistler, Weston Kistler, Rachel McDaniel, Emily McDaniel, great-granddaughter Charolette Everly Powell, as well as all who knew him.

Danny was preceded in death by his Father, JD McDaniel and Mother, Roxie Lofton.
