Jean Marie Pritchett

Jean Marie Pritchett, age 82, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away September 17, 2025. She was born November 13, 1942, in Binghamton, New York to Ruth Lucille Demond and Ray L. Robinson. In 1960 she became a graduate of Union-Endicott High School, class of 1960. She went on to achieve a BS in nursing at University of New York at Glenn Falls. For 18 years, Jean worked at Lordes Hospital in Binghamton, New York where she reached the position of head nurse. In 1981 she married Don Michael Pritchett. By 2010 she settled in Huntsville, Alabama.

Jean will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She loved her church family at Calvary Baptist Church. As well she enjoyed watching wildlife in her backyard and admiring sunrises and sunsets, with ice cream as a highlight in her life.

She is preceded in death by her father, mother, and husband (who died, Match 2, 2000).

Jean is survived by her son: Andrew Michael Pritchett, daughter-in-law: Kensly Nichelle Pritchett, and her three grandchildren Alaina, Lauren, and Landon Pritchett. Her nieces Joan (husband Peter) Moore and Candy (husband Gary) Moore; nephew Josh Moore; and niece, Connie Jenkins (husband Charles). As well, dear friend and caregiver Christy VanHooser.
