John Robert Carter, Sr., 71, of Madison, Alabama passed away January 28, 2026.
He is survived by his spouse Lucretia Carter; children: John R. “Robbie” Carter, Jr., Michael Shaun Caput (Tricia), Brandon Joe Carter (Jessica); 5 grandchildren: Zach, Gage, Grayson, Ellie and Thomas; sister: Gina Carter Wilson (Randy); nephew: Josh White; nieces: Kristen Wiram, Alicia Bell, Jennifer Tindell, Theresa Anderson; brother and sister in-law: Tony Tindell (Jamie) and Cindy White (Eric).
John Carter, Sr is preceded in death by his parents: Billy Joe and Johnnie Carter.
He is a retired US veteran, having served 21 and half years in the Navy.
The Memorial Service for John Robert Carter, Sr. will take place at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home on Sunday, February 01, 2026. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 PM. Pastor Andy Wisner will officiate.
