John Henry Lucas

John Henry Lucas, 56 years old, of Huntsville, Alabama went home with Jesus on November 29, 2025 after losing his battle with lung cancer. In Heaven he joined his parents John and Linda Lucas, and his grandparents John and Wanda Lucas and Margaret Henderson.

He is leaving behind his wife Jo L. Lucas and son Nickalas H. Lucas of Huntsville, Alabama; sister Tammy A. Voynar and niece Hope E. Voynar of Lewisburg, Tennessee; father-in-law Donald C. Shevnock of Punta Gorda, Florida and several aunts, uncles, cousins; and many friends that are more like family.

John worked many jobs. From towing and recovery, GMC service advisor, cement mixer driver, apartment maintenance supervisor, HVAC technician and, with wife Jo, co-owner of Madison Heating and Cooling that over many years he worked into a very successful and prosperous HVAC company.

There will be a celebration of life and accomplishments held at a later date.
