Jon William Brown

Jon “Lucky” William Brown, 61, of Madison, Alabama died on May 6, 2023 in Madison. He was born on March 26, 1962 in Prattville, Alabama. He is preceded in death by his parents Silas Luther Brown, Jr. and Rosario Cardona Brown.

 

Jon is a 1980 graduate of Bob Jones High School in Madison. Jon worked in the sprinkler fitting business providing fire protection systems with his last job being at Fire Pro LLC in Madison. After he retired, he enjoyed his favorite hobbies including golf, billiards, motorcycle riding, being at the beach, Alabama football, and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

 

Jon is survived by his son, Christopher Michael Brown (Meleen), his daughter, Kayla Michelle Barnett (Joshua), his sister, Beverly Brown Swaim (Richard) and his brother, Silas “Charlie” Luther Brown III (Karen). He is also survived by his five grandchildren including Andrew Brown, Sebastian Barnett, Archie Barnett, Temperance Harding and Ezmae-Rose Brown along with his nieces and nephews.

 

The visitation will be held at Legacy Funeral Home in Madison, Alabama on May 11, 2023 from 12:00 to 2:00pm. A graveside service will follow after visitation at Huntsville Memory Gardens. Pall bearers include Silas Luther Brown IV, Andrew Brown, Joshua Barnett, Christopher Brown, Stanley Nichols, and Adam Woodfin. The family would like to thank his caregivers including the medical staff at Clearview Cancer Institute, Digestive Disease Center, Huntsville Hospital Home Health Care, and Hospice of North Alabama for their kind and loving care. Our beloved Dad, Papa, Brother, and Friend will be greatly missed.
