Joseph Ferrante

Joseph “Joe” Ferrante passed away on April 27th at the age of 76 years old. Joe was born in Brooklyn, New York, on December 23, 1946, to Mary Ferrante, who preceded him in death. Joseph is survived by his wife, Jean (née Stephenson), and his children, Julianne and Joey (Rachel). He also has a loving granddaughter, Sophia.
Joseph is a USMC veteran of the Vietnam War, serving honorably in the 1st Battalion 9th Marines. For his service, he received many awards, including a Purple Heart Medal for wounds received in action.
Joe continued his service after retirement in a mentorship role during veterans events, but his greatest devotion was to his family.
Joe also leaves a wealth of memories for his family and friends to always cherish, and he will be dearly missed by all those who loved him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 5, from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Semper Fi Community Task Force, www.semperfictf.org, in Joe’s memory.
