Larry Hazel Sturdivant

Larry Hazel Sturdivant, 86, passed peacefully to glory on October 26, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty Jean Sturdivant; his son, David Sturdivant; his father Carlos Sturdivant, his mother, Hortense Kinslow Sturdivant; three brothers, Jewell, Howard, and Andrew Sturdivant; and two sisters, Helen Reed and Mary Lockhart. He is survived by his daughter, Sandra Steadman (John T.), five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. After retiring from Colsa, he spent his days antiquing, making friends with whomever crossed his path, and being a cherished Papa. His open garage door with an extra rocking chair for friends, family, and neighbors will be deeply missed.
