Patricia Ann Gardiner Jones

Patricia Ann Gardiner Jones, age 93, of Madison, AL, died May 28, 2025. A funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM Monday, June 2 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Madison, with interment directly after Mass at St. John’s columbarium.

Patricia was born and raised in Iowa, where she met and married her husband, Russel. In 1973, Pat and Russ settled in Scottsboro, AL, where she enjoyed spending time with a close circle of friends, playing cards, trips to the Florida coast with family, church activities at St. Jude’s parish, crafting – especially with the Crafty Ladies group, sewing, and sharing meals with family and friends. Pat received wonderful care from the staff at Heritage Assisted Living in Madison. She was a thoughtful and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be missed by many.

Pat is predeceased by her parents William Gardiner and Viola Gardiner Huebner, husband Russ, brother Thomas Gardiner and sister Sara Jo Gieseman. She is survived by her children Mary Warde, Teresa Methvin (Les), Karen Taylor (Danny), Richard Jones (Jane), Kathleen Jones, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made in Patricia’s memory to St. Jude Catholic Church in Scottsboro, AL or Huntsville Hospital Foundation - Hospice Family Care.
