Patricia Ann Wallen, a cherished member of the Huntsville community, passed away peacefully on August 22 2024, at the age of 82. A native of Bristol, Tennessee, Patricia was born on July 11 1942, to her beloved mother, Anna Louise Sibley, who has since passed.
A dedicated social worker, Patricia devoted her professional life to serving the youth of Sullivan County at the Sullivan County Youth Center in Blountville, Tennessee. Her career was marked by compassion and a profound commitment to making a difference in the lives of young people. Her work exemplified her caring nature and desire to help those in need.
Family meant the world to Patricia, and she was a source of unconditional love and generosity. She is survived by her children, Angela Cox and Donald Cox, and her grandchildren, Steven Cox, Sean Cox, and Katharine Cox. Additionally, Patricia leaves behind one great-grandchild, Donnie Cox, who will grow to know the warmth and love that his great-grandmother shared with her family.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Patricia's life during the visitation on August 27, 2024, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:30 PM at the Legacy Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory located at 16 Hughes Rd, Madison, Alabama.
Patricia Ann Wallen will be remembered not only for her dedication to her family and career but also for the love she fostered and the happiness she brought to those around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones and in the many lives she impacted throughout her journey.
