Peggy was born May 5, 1949 in Guntersville, AL to Calvin and Lena Mitchell, where she was raised alongside her five siblings.
On March 13, 1969, Peggy gave birth to her daughter Tracy. She not only gained a daughter that day, but her lifelong best friend.
Peggy had an extremely successful sales career that allowed her to see all corners of the country. Her caring nature, compassion, and fierce determination served as the fuel for that success.
December 6, 1985 Peggy married the love of her life, James (Jim) Edward Bowles. Through the ups and downs, their love never wavered. Over the next 40 years Peggy and Jim welcomed 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Peggy’s first career was sales, her second career was Nana. Nothing gave her greater joy than spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Through her battle with cancer, her faith in The Lord remained strong. She shared that love everyday with family and friends. By this faith she will live on in our hearts forever.
“I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me, even if he dies, will live; and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?”
