Rayna Andrea Anderson, born on October 11, 1975, in McAlester, Oklahoma, has left behind a legacy of love and selflessness that will forever be cherished. She passed away on January 30, 2024, leaving behind a void that can never be filled. Rayna's obituary is to serve as a heartfelt tribute to a remarkable woman who touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

As much as Rayna loved her career, she treasured her time with family above all else. She adored spending quality moments with her loved ones and was always eager to share in the most amazing experiences with them. Rayna had a genuine others-focused approach to life and always strived to add value to the lives of those around her. Her selflessness knew no bounds, as she consistently placed the needs of others before her own.

Education played a significant role in Rayna's life. She earned a Master's degree in Business Administration and Bachelor's Degrees in Finance and Accounting from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Her academic achievements were further elevated by her membership in three prestigious honor societies: Phi Kappa Phi, Beta Alpha Psi, and Beta Gamma Sigma.

Throughout her career, Rayna found great joy in being a part of the Redstone Federal Credit Union family. Her dedication and passion for her work were evident in all that she did.  A highlight of her time with the credit union not only spending time helping members but participating in the Dragon Boat Races where she helped them secure an admirable 3rd place. Rayna's commitment to her professional endeavors was truly inspiring.

Describing Rayna's personality is no easy task, for she was an extraordinary individual who touched people's hearts effortlessly. Those privileged enough to know her would attest to her loving nature, unwavering supportiveness, infectious sense of fun, outgoing demeanor, and genuine care for others. Above all else, what set Rayna apart was her unwavering selflessness. She always ensured that those around her were taken care of before considering her own needs.

Beyond the realm of work and family, Rayna found solace in a variety of hobbies and interests. She had a deep passion for traveling, reveling in the discovery of new places and cultures. Playing games, dancing, and engaging in cherished moments with loved ones brought her immense joy. Rayna's zest for life was contagious, and her enthusiasm radiated through every activity she took part in.

While Rayna's accomplishments were plentiful, she often expressed that her proudest achievement was raising two remarkable young adults. Her children, Alyssa Anderson and Gabriel Anderson, will forever carry their mother's love, wisdom, and strength within them. Rayna's nurturing spirit undoubtedly played a significant role in shaping them into extraordinary individuals.

Rayna is survived by her loving husband, Chris Anderson, who loves her more than words can express. Her parents Fawn Coleman, John Coleman and Charles Martin provided the foundation of love upon which she built her life. Her brothers Daryn Coleman and Shay Coleman, as well as sister Ashley Bills, shared in countless cherished memories with Rayna. 

Services to honor Rayna's life will take place on February 5th, 2024. A viewing will be held at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory in Madison, Alabama from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Following the viewing, a Celebration of Life ceremony will commence at the same location from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Rayna Andrea Anderson will forever be remembered as a beacon of love and kindness. Her impact on the lives of those lucky enough to have known her cannot be overstated. As we mourn our loss, let us also celebrate the beautiful life Rayna lived and the countless hearts she touched. Even in her absence, her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us all.
