Ronella Faye Vickers

Ronella “Ronnie” Faye Vickers, 89, of Huntsville, AL died Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Hospice Family Care in Huntsville. She was born September 18, 1934, in Bloomington, Illinois to the late Roy and Blanche (McCray) Romans.

     Ronella drove a school bus in Reynoldsburg for over 20 years. She volunteered at the Midland Theatre and the Davis-Shai House as well as other organizations. She enjoyed cooking, baking, making chocolate, and reading cookbooks. After moving to Alabama, she enjoyed playing games, spending time with family, watching Homestead Rescue, and attending Daystar Church where she was an active member.  

     She is survived by her children, Susan Condit of Russellville, AR, Lynn Kraner of Newark,OH, Jeanie (Bill) Downey of Newark, OH, Joan (Gary) Adams of Huntsville AL, and Frank (Kathleen) Marshall, Sr. of Newark, OH; sister, Rene Darnell of Mossville IL; 21 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.   

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank E. Marshall III. 

     Visitation will be held Friday, May 3, 2024 from 11-1 pm at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark, where the funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow the service at Glen Rest Cemetery, Pastor Steven Osborne officiating.
