Ruby "Jean" Daugherty

Ruby “Jean” Daugherty, age 84 of Madison, Alabama passed away on Friday, May 12^th, 2023.

Jean was born on December 19^th, 1938, in Goodlettsville, Tennessee to the late Clay and Jonnie Carter. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son Gary Daugherty and granddaughter Crystal Daugherty.

Jean is survived by her daughters Michele (Mike) McQueeney and Lesa Daugherty, grandsons Brandon (Jodie) Daugherty, Devin Platt, Ryan & Kyle McQueeney, Lance & Cody Daugherty, Jennifer Daugherty. Great granddaughters Macie, Piper, Addison & MacKenzie Daugherty and great grandson Michael McQueeney. 

Jean was an Air Force veteran who also served back our veterans working at Operation Stand Down in Nashville, Tennessee. She loved spending time with family and friends, collecting angel figurines and looked forward to holidaying time, chocolate cake for birthdays and enjoyed watching NASCAR after church on Sundays. 

A celebration of Life services will take place in July 2023.
