Scott Michael Bottomley

On September 23, 2025 Scotty Bottomley passed from this world to be with the Lord. He was called home at the young age of 32. Scotty was born in Cocoa Beach, Florida and raised in North Alabama. Scotty was an avid outdoorsman, skilled craftsman, electrician, and foreman. Scotty was engaged to Ashley Smith. They were expecting their first child together. He was excited to become a father and build a life together. 

Scotty is survived by his father Rick; sister Jennifer; fiancé Ashley Smith; and extended family by love and blood. Scotty is preceded in death and has joined his mother Trish Bottomley; Grandmother Faye Cason; and Grandfather Godfrey Bottomley.

 Services will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025. The visitation will be at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm. A graveside service will be at 2:00 pm in Huntsville Memory Gardens. Should you feel led to do so, the family asks that in lieu of flowers a donation be made in his memory to support others.
