Sherry Lynn Ashmore

Sherry Lynn Ashmore, 79, of Madison, Alabama, passed away October 18, 2025. She was born in Scottsboro, Alabama and graduated from Scottsboro High School in the year 1968. Also, in the year 1968, on August 24, Sherry married Tommy Ashmore.

She is survived by her daughter Brandi Ashmore, brother Jerry Atkins and his family, as well as many extended family members.

Sherry is preceded in death by her husband Tommy (2016), father Allen Atkins (1987), mother Lillie Atkins (2009), brother Stan Atkins and his wife Nina Atkins, uncle Jack Shelton and his wife Doris Shelton, uncle Houston Shelton and his wife Yoshi Shelton.

A Memorial Service will be held for Sherry Ashmore on October 22, 2025 at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Service will follow at 5:00 PM.
